Data We Collect
AYU3 does not collect any data.
There is no account registration. Your recordings, thumbnails, and settings are stored on your device. The developer operates no servers and never receives your data. No analytics tools, no advertising SDKs, no tracking.
iCloud backup (optional)
Only if you turn on “Back up to iCloud” under Settings › Backup, your recordings (the original videos) together with their capture time and finish settings are stored in the iCloud of your own Apple Account (a CloudKit private database). It is your own iCloud and uses your iCloud storage. The developer cannot view or receive its contents.
It is off by default. Turning it off stops further uploads (data already stored can be deleted from Settings › Apple Account › iCloud on your iPhone). Deleting a recording in the app also deletes the same recording from iCloud; there is no way to bring it back from iCloud. After changing phones or reinstalling, use “Restore from iCloud” in the app to bring your recordings back.
In-App Purchase (AYU3 Plus)
The app offers a one-time in-app purchase called “AYU3 Plus”. All purchase and restore processing is handled by Apple’s App Store (StoreKit). The developer never receives your name, payment details, or any other personal information.
Information related to purchases is handled according to Apple’s Privacy Policy.

These are used only for recording and exporting. Except for the optional iCloud backup described above, nothing is ever sent off your device.
Deleting Your Data
You can permanently delete any recording at any time from within the app (with iCloud backup on, the copy in iCloud is deleted as well). Deleting the app removes all recordings from your device; a backup stored in iCloud remains until you delete it from your iPhone’s Settings.
